ABSTRACT
The course aims to provide a theoretical and applied framework for the use of 810 nm and 635 nm diode lasers in dentistry. The fundamental principles of radiation-tissue interaction will be analyzed, with particular attention to selective absorption mechanisms and the different affinities between chromophores and wavelengths, clarifying which types of light are appropriate for use in dentistry.
The central session will focus on periodontal protocols based on the use of the diode laser. The operating phases for the treatment of open periodontal pockets and those using resective surgical techniques will be systematically described, as well as intervention methods for peri-implantitis and, specifically, implant osteitis. Gingival margin reconditioning protocols and procedures for correcting mucosal discoloration will also be explored.
Finally, an overview of the further clinical applications supported by these wavelengths will be provided, in order to provide a complete picture of the potential of the diode laser in contemporary dental practice with references to Aesthetic Dermatology and Physiotherapy.

dott. Davide Boscolo Anzoletti
Born in Chioggia – Venice – in 1972. He graduated from Venice, earned a master’s degree from Padua, and received two postgraduate Master’s degrees from UniCamillus University in Rome. He has been a science educator and communicator since 1999. He is an honorary member of the SNOI (National Society of Italian Dentistry) and an honorary member of the SIDI (Society of Italian Dental Hygienists). Previously, he was part of the research and clinical validation team of a manufacturer of electromedical devices. He has delivered over 1,100 hours of training at conferences, conventions, and courses for private companies, institutional organizations, academies, and universities, including:

- Albanian University of Tirana, Albania;
- Creation Academy of Como,

- SIDI Rome.
